Christal Johnson, Ph.D. earned her doctoral degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked as a professor at Howard University and Syracuse University. 

Her motto is: Educate. Empower. Mobilize.

Staying true to her motto, she shifted from higher education to educating others about financial services. Christal has worked as a financial consultant for seven years, where she empowers others with financial education and helps them develop a plan for financial freedom. She helps her clients make money, save money, and accumulate wealth.

Christal encourages everyone to be creative when it comes to financial independence.  She believes it’s important to simultaneously build wealth and have fun!  For example, have debt-elimination parties, wealth-building happy hours, and financial freedom cookouts.

Christal has presented financial sessions across the United States (and virtually), for universities, sororities, churches, school districts, families, and various other organizations, including Syracuse University, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and The Tab Church (Bishop Jason Nelson, pastor).

Christal does complimentary one-on-one financial consultations and complimentary financial literacy events in a fun, informative, and tailored format to make financial solutions applicable to everyone's life.

Christal is licensed in 18 states, has a Series 6 and Series 63 license, and is a member of FINRA.

When she’s not working, Christal likes to think about exercising, travel, and watch "Judge Judy."
